Rajinikanth: Whole life and career in a short view-

In the whole Indian movie industry there is no one like this man whose name you can see in the headline. At the same time, this is only one person in the industry who have the title of “Super Hero” and still now he is considered as the leading actor of the whole industry and the master of art of acting. “Rajinikanth’s” birthday is on 12th of December on 1950 and he is from a Maratha family of Bangalore known as Mysore State. His mother was a housewife, and his father name is “Ramoji Rao Gaekwad” who was a police constable, He was named at first “Shivaji Rao Gaekwad” after the name of “Chhatrapati Shivaji” who is known as a Maratha warrior King. This man was grown up in a speaking Marathi at home and Kannada outside. “Rajinikanth’s” ancestors hailed from both Mavadi Kadepathar, Maharashtra and Nachikuppam of Tamil Nadu. He is the youngest of four siblings in a family consisting of two elder brothers known as “Satyanarayana Rao” and “Nageshwara Rao” and also has a sister name “Aswath Balubhai”. After his father’s retirement from work in the year of 1956, the family moved to the suburb of “Hanumantha nagar” in Bangalore and built a house there. When he was only nine years old, he lost his mother.

When at the age of six, “Rajinikanth” was enrolled to have the basic education at the “Gavipuram Government Kannada Model Primary School” where he had his primary education. As a child, he was studious and very amazingly “mischievous” with a great interest on the cricket, football and basketball as well. It was during this time his brother took him at the “Ramakrishna Math”, a Hindu monastery set up by “Ramakrishna Mission”. In the math, he was taught Vedas, tradition and history which eventually instilled a sense of spirituality in him. In addition to spiritual lessons, he also began acting in plays at the math. His aspiration towards theater grew at the math and was once given an opportunity to enact the role of “Ekalavya’s” friend from the Hindu epic Mahabharata. His performance in the play received praise from the audience and Kannada poet known with the name “D. R. Bendre” in particular. After the sixth grade, “Rajinikanth” was admitted to the “Acharya Pathasala Public School” and made his study there till completion of his pre-university course. During the time of his schooling at the “Acharya Pathasala”, he spent a lot of time acting in plays. In one such occasion, very interestingly he performed villainous role of “Duryodhana” in the play “Kurukshetra”.
