G. V. Prakash Kumar: life and career status at a glance:
India has never short of great talents whether it is about talented singers, dancers, movie maker or actor. Amongst those talents, one of the young age capable person is “G. V. Prakash Kumar” who was born June 13, 1987 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, INDIA. He is a south Indian soundtrack composer, actor and singer as well. He has mainly scored music for Tamil films. Several songs of his are released iin different films. His first film was -S Pictures “Veyyil” at (2006) and he became popular in Tamil cinema throughout 2010. He has entered into film production and acting at the very begging of his career.

“Praksh Kumar” first appeared in director “S. Shankar’s Tamil film Gentleman” as a vocalist with the soundtrack composed by his caring uncle “A. R. Rahman”. He has also contributed to some of “Rahman’s” other projects. At the begging of his career he had sang two songs in “Anniyan” and “Unnale Unnale” and with that he was able to work with “Harris Jayaraj”. At the year 2013, “Prakash Kumar” launched his own production house with the name of “GV Prakash Kumar Productions”. His first film, “Madha Yaanai Koottam” was directed by “Vikram Sugumaran” a former assistant of “Balu Mahendra” and that was launched with his own production house banner. In 2012, during a poster promoting work for “A. L. Vijay’s Thaandavam” director “AR Murugadoss” had seen a picture of “G. V. Prakash” and contacted him as a potential acting venture. “Prakash” agreed to play the role in the project but due to some reasons the film later failed to take off, though he remained interested in acting opportunities as an actor. Talking about the personal life of this person he is the son of “G Venkatesh” and playback singer “A. R. Reihana”. His mother is the elder sister of music director “A. R. Rahman”. “Prakash” married singer “Saindhavi”, with whom he studied at Chettinad Vidyashram. They got married on 27 June 2013 at the Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall in Chennai. This playback singer loves to play Guitar, keyboard and piano at his free time.
